  Just don't use them for insurance work. They want payment up front, don't turn up, don't answer calls, don't provide costing for job and don't do a good job. What more can I say.....just use some other firm.

  UBS must be the worst building company in Australia, yet insurance companies continue to use them!
  They were appointed by my insurance company to repair my house and it has been a nightmare. The so called Senior Project Manager didn't turn up to site when they were appointed. He has threatened and argued with me, telling me I am not his client, the insurance company is, and that they don't care about the quality of the work, they just want it off their books.
  
  The painter has had to come back at least 10 times as he was called in when the repairs weren't finished and he was told to do very limited work. So I have had to complain to the insurance company to get the painter to come back.
  
  This Project Manager said I can make this job go on as long as you like, which means the insurance company can't claim their money back from the people who caused the damage until all the work is complete.
  
  Plaster work is falling apart. Repair work that is in difficult places to inspect are not completed. Workman were sent to the site and phoned me to find out what they supposed to do because the project manager hadn't told them.
  
  UBS are the WORST builders in Australia.
